Losing weight is a very hard thing to do. You’re probably trying to do that as we speak. As the Holidays have just passed us by and you had too many cookies, egg nog, or your vice of choice. You’re not alone as I am trying to do the same thing. I was very surprised to learn about these 3 foods.
3 Foods That Will Help You Add Pounds Instead Of Losing Them
Each of these foods are considered healthy and are labeled as such, but are not.
Food # 1 Yogurt
One reason is that yogurt has a ton of sugar in it. Often times the sugar is added rather than naturally occurring. Too much sugar helps you gain weight. Not lose it.
Food # 2 Wheat Bread
Even though wheat bread is marketed as healthy, it still contains large amounts of high fructose corn syrup which is known to help you pile on the pounds. Not shed them. Also, high fructose corn syrup causes you to eat more as it shuts off the part of your brain that says you’re full and not hungry.
Food # 3 Cereal Bars
Main ingredients are either sugar, or corn syrup in cereal bars. How do you know that? Because it’s the first ingredient on the food label. When it’s the first ingredient on the food label means that’s what is in that cereal bar the most. So, stay away from cereal bars unless you want to keep that weight on.
