It really is that simple my friend.
Obviously, that is not going to be all there is to this blog post.
Before we get into the meat and potatoes here I have to ask you a question.
[tweet_box design=”default” float=”none”]Do you have a customer acquisition process in place for your business?[/tweet_box]
Why should you keep reading this blog post from beginning to end?
Not only are we going to tell you what customer acquisition meaning (definition) is, we will talk about the importance of installing a process in your business for customer acquisition.
Sound like a plan?
I touched on some specifics of a customer acquisition process in an earlier blog post, which I think deserves a minute of your time. So go take a look and let me know what you think.

The first sentence of this blog post told you what is customer acquisition meaning, so now we’re going to talk about process.
Why is it important to have a
customer acquisition process in place?
- So you know exactly how you acquire customers – tactics, etc.
- How long it takes.
- How much time it takes on average to acquire one customer.
- The resources you need to deploy.
- Allows you the Ability to scale or grow your business year after year.
- Increase in efficiency, which results in higher revenue and juicier profits.
When you have a process in place that churns out new customers at a rapid pace and works – day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, you’ll have a thriving, growing and consistent business.
If your business is consistently growing what would that do for your bottom line?
My guess is it would explode it.
No, that’s not hyperbole. it’s fact really.
Can you see the benefit to having a process in place for customer acquisition?
I bet you can.
Most small business owners cannot tell you in 60 seconds or so what their customer acquisition process is.
Why is that?
Because they do not have one in place.
Which significantly decreases their ability to grow their business, let alone do it with some sort of consistency.
That causes a roller coaster in your business, which I do not have to tell you, is not a good way to grow on a consistent basis.
Would you agree?
Often times something this simple can put you out of business, so my question to you is why don’t you have a
new customer acquisition process in place for your business?
Think about that for a minute or two.
Really, why don’t you have a new customer acquisition process in place?
You want to stay in business don’t you?
Of course you do.
So, why not make sure your small business is around in the future and put a customer acquisition process in place.
Are you picking up what I am putting down?
I sure hope so.
Let’s talk about a real world example that you can relate to.
When it comes time to get up before you go about your day and either go to your place or business, home office, whatever your destination is where you make it happen.
You have a routine or for the sake of this discussion a process.
I am sure you do.
How long have you’ve been following that process?
Have you had to make adjustments or improvements to that process over the years?
I am sure you do have a process in place for the morning when you wake up and have had to make improvements over time.
You need to have that process fine tuned or you will not be able to function at your absolute best day in and day out.
So, why don’t you have a customer acquisition process in place for your business?
Your business is just as important as your morning routine or probably more important as your business pays the bills to keep that roof over your head and food on the table.
So, you would be best served to have a customer acquisition process in place for your business.
Does my example make sense?
Drill the point home that you need a process in place?
Then we’re on track.

If we’re going to talk about conventional methods for your customer acquisition process I would consider learning how to sell.
Either face-to-face, on the phone or via a webinar.
Do you know how to sell?
If not, then you have two choices.
- Learn how to sell yourself.
- Hire those who can sell for you.
You’ll just have to figure out what type of sales person would give you the most return-on-investment.
Also, this will depend on your specific industry too.
Here’s a tip.
If you have the ability to hire a salesperson that has industry knowledge and relationships, then that is a win-win and you should hire them on the spot.

You’re doing great and I appreciate you staying with me.
