Do you need a larger marketing budget or more time to market high-priced affiliate products? No. You may perceive that to be the case, but the reality is it is not any more labor intensive than marketing a low-priced affiliate product. So if you could spend the same amount of time, money, and energy marketing a product that will net you $1,000 in commission versus a product that will net you $10 in commission which would you choose? If you have to think about this then stop reading my blog and go watch tv, because this is a NO-BRAINER! The only difference between the two is the sales cycle for the high-priced product is longer. What does that mean? It will take longer to sell the high-priced affiliate product. The reason it takes longer is people take their time making a decision that requires spending several hundred to a thousand dollars. Whereas, you’ll drop $50 without blinking.
I have sold products in the eye care industry to eye doctors ranging in price from $10.00 to $100,000. The only thing that separates the two is the time it takes to sell the high-priced product – it takes longer.
