Pouring molten salt into a tank of water is the most exciting backyard experiment I’ve ever seen. This is by far the best science experiment on the internet. A word to the wise you should not attempt this experiment by yourself. Furthermore, regular Morton salt can become molten if heated up high enough – over 1,000 degrees to be exact. So, here is the question. What happens to molten salt when you pour it into a tank of water? You’ll have to wait and see in this video by YouTube user TheBackyardScientist.
Pouring Molten Salt Into A Tank Of Water Is Something To See For Sure
That’s awesome. So cool. This man is crazy if you ask me. Better him than me that’s for sure. With the tank shattering into a million pieces he’s lucky that he was not struck by any of the flying pieces of glass. Note to self: wear protective gear if trying to conduct this experiment on your own. Want another cool science experiment to watch? Check out what happens when you mix Coca Cola and salt together.
