I am sure I speak for all of you in that I am finally glad the 2016 Presidential Election is behind us. A historic event that’s for sure. That’s not what I want to talk about with you today. What I want to talk about is social media. Specifically, a priceless social media lesson Donald Trump taught us all. That’s of course if you were listening. Now we all know how powerful a tool social media is right?

A Social Media Lesson As Told By President-Elect Donald Trump
And no it has nothing to do with him firing back at the media or making a comment about something that all of the world was perceived to have an issue with.
Nope. None of that.
So, what are you talking about then?
Did you watch the 60 minutes episode where they interviewed him and his family after the election was over?
Regardless of your position you should. And watch the part about social media.
In the interview he was asked if he was still going to be on social media. Namely Twitter?
He said, he would scale back. If not stop using altogether as President Of The United States of America.
Donald Trump did say he he feels he won the election with social media.
Between Facebook and Twitter he has a following of about 28 million people as he indicated in the interview.
Why does all of this matter? Or What is the social media lesson here?
He said social media is a tremendous communication tool.
I’ll take it one step further.
You can virtually reach the corners of the earth with social media. Your reach is endless.
When you realize that, it’s up to you to leverage social media in a way to grow your business.
So, start taking social media seriously, especially when trying to grow your brand and/or business.
