Have you figured out what you are passionate about? Whatever it is I hope it gets your blood boiling and you can’t wait to get going. Now before you dive in and start signing up for every affiliate program and income stream you can get your grubby little hands on cool your jets hot rod. You’re not the only one to be passionate about your chosen topic and sure won’t be the last. The key is to differentiate yourself from the pack, bring something different to the table that is relevant and no one else is doing and there is a need for it. This will require you to do your homework. Get on it!
I’ll use a couple different examples of how to differentiate yourself in two different niches – making money and fitness.
If all the blogs you read in this niche talk about how much money they make working from home and not how they do it, well it would be easy to differentiate yourself. Show your audience how and what steps they need to take to make money.
During research in the fitness niche if all you read and see is how you can get in fantastic shape using XYZ supplement or fitness gadget and nothing more in a few minutes a day. Educate your audience on proper nutrition to use with those supplements or gadgets to maximize results.
Another example that you can relate to in everyday life.
McDonalds and Burger King. Each are fast food restaurants who sell hamburgers. One sells flame broiled hamburgers and the other does not. One’s signature sandwich is a whopper while the other is a Big Mac. Both restaurants sell the same thing, yet they are different. Each of these places bring something different to their customers. That’s what you need to do! Make sense?
No matter what niche you have chosen as in any business you need to differentiate yourself. Differentiate or die.
